Short description

PERIHELIA is a neon music arcade. Ride a tiny rocket around the orbit, slip through the gaps in the rings on the beat of an original soundtrack, and when the drop lands, unleash BURST and blast through waves of enemies.

Long description

In PERIHELIA the soundtrack is the level. Rings close in around a single orbit, each one with a gap, and every ring, gap and light dot is placed on the music: the kicks, the build-ups, the breakdowns and the drops. You steer a small rocket along the orbit, thread the gaps in time and collect light to charge your energy.

Nail the build-up and the drop becomes yours. BURST flips the game into an old-school arcade shooter for a few seconds of pure release, before the orbit snaps back and the track rolls on.

JOURNEY is the campaign: a spiral path toward the Sun, where the tempo climbs from lo-fi and chill synthwave through UK garage, afro house and nu-disco to melodic techno, trance and liquid drum & bass. FREE PLAY lets you pick any track, DAILY gives everyone the same challenge with fresh modifiers and a leaderboard, and ENDLESS never stops.

All 18 tracks are original and stream-safe, so creators can play on Twitch or YouTube without copyright claims.
